Fire Station Maintenance Purpose: To establish a guideline by which the fire stations shall be maintained to preserve longevity, operational versatility, and personnel safety. Station Maintenance - Daily station maintenance is the responsibility of the Lieutenant/OIC. Concerns/issues are to be directed to the Battalion Chief on-duty. The Battalion Chief shall determine the significance of the issue and address it accordingly. Inspections • Weekly inspections are to be done by the Lieutenants • Monthly inspections are to be done by the Battalion Chiefs • Biannual inspections are to be done by the Deputy Chief • Annual inspection is to be done by the Fire Chief

Biannual and Annual Inspections are documented and electronically stored with the Deputy Chief.
